Ml Khalid Desai

Moulana Khalid Desai is a prominent South African Islamic scholar and educator based in Durban, who is deeply involved in the academic and spiritual leadership of Madrasah Taleemuddeen in Isipingo Beach. A senior student and close associate of Mufti Ebrahim Salejee, he serves as a lecturer in the higher departments of the Madrasah, specializing in Hadith and Arabic Literature. He plays a central role in the Al-Haadi platform, contributing to the publication and dissemination of spiritual and educational literature designed for the moral reformation of the community. Beyond his institutional roles, he is a well-known public speaker who frequently delivers Jumu'ah sermons and spiritual discourses at various mosques in the KwaZulu-Natal region, including the Sherwood Musjid and Musjid-us-Saliheen.
