Overview
Mu'min Companion collects the minimum information needed to create accounts, deliver access to the full content library, and improve the learning experience for registered users. All content on the platform is free — there are no subscriptions.
Information We Collect
We may collect your name, email address, authentication details managed through Supabase, lecture listening history, and basic technical information required to keep the service secure and functional. If you choose to make a voluntary donation, we collect the information necessary to process that payment through Paystack, including your email address and donation amount.
How We Use Information
Your information is used to create and manage your account, provide access to all content in the library, track listening progress, process voluntary donations where applicable, respond to support requests, and maintain the security and reliability of the platform.
Donations and Payments
Donations are entirely voluntary and are processed by Paystack. We do not store full card details on our servers. Donation records may be retained for accounting and legal purposes. Making a donation does not affect your access to the platform in any way — all content remains free for all registered users regardless of whether a donation is made.
Lecture Access and Storage
Audio files and related media may be delivered through secure storage and signed access links. We store lecture progress so you can continue listening across sessions and devices.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared only with trusted service providers used to operate the platform, such as hosting, authentication, payment processing, and storage providers, or where disclosure is required by law.
Data Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request account deletion at any time from your profile page, subject to any records we must retain for legal or financial reasons.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. You may also contact us if you have questions about how your data is handled.
