Ml Shabir Ahmed Saloojee

Hazrat Moulana Shabbier Ahmed Saloojee Saheb is a respected senior South African Aalim and the principal of Darul Uloom Zakariyya in Johannesburg. He was born on 26 March 1951 in Vrededorp, Johannesburg, and has been closely associated with Darul Uloom Zakariyya from its early years, serving among its early Asaatithah and later as its principal. Hazrat is known for his teaching, Islaahi majaalis, public advices and longstanding service to Islamic education in South Africa. Through his leadership, teaching and spiritual guidance, Hazrat continues to contribute to the preservation of Deen, the nurturing of students, and the encouragement of Muslims towards obedience to Allah Ta’ala and adherence to the Sunnah.
