Ml Zakariyya Makda

Moulana Zakariyya Makda is a South African Islamic scholar and educator based in Isipingo Beach, Durban. He is a senior faculty member at Madrasah Taleemuddeen, where he serves as a lecturer in advanced Islamic sciences, including Hadith and Arabic Literature. A close associate and student of Mufti Ebrahim Salejee, he is deeply involved in the academic and spiritual activities of the Madrasah and contributes to the publication of educational and spiritual materials through the Al-Haadi platform. Known for his expertise in classical texts, he frequently delivers Jumu'ah sermons and public lectures at various mosques in the Durban area, including Musjid-us-Saliheen in Sherwood, focusing on the preservation of the Sunnah, spiritual character building, and the importance of traditional Islamic values.
